Private diamond sourcing

Choosing a diamond where the numbers serve its beauty.

A fine diamond is more than a set of high grades. During the consultation we connect the report with the stone’s appearance, the proportions of the jewelry and your priorities, so the investment is visible in the finished piece.

Value you can see

We begin with the jewelry design, diamond shape and desired face-up size. Budget is directed toward proportions, light performance and visible presence rather than grades that look better only on paper.

The report and the stone both matter

We verify the GIA, IGI or HRD number and its match to the diamond, then assess the actual stone. Cut proportions, transparency, fluorescence, optical symmetry and shape-specific nuances such as an oval bow-tie are all considered.

An origin aligned with your priorities

Natural and laboratory-grown diamonds share the same crystalline material, yet differ in origin, price, availability and market outlook. We explain those distinctions impartially so the choice remains informed and personal.

A choice you can understand

Compare diamonds by what you see — not only by the report

During the consultation, we connect the 4Cs with the stone’s real appearance, jewelry design and budget. We show where a quality difference is visible and where a higher grade merely raises the price.

1

Define priorities

We define the piece, preferred shape, millimeter size, natural or laboratory-grown origin and budget.

2

Compare real stones

We assess cut, proportions, color, clarity, fluorescence and visual nuances under different lighting.

3

Verify documentation

We verify the report number, laboratory and stone parameters, then explain the trade-offs of each option.

The consultation process

From an idea to a confident choice

You receive a focused selection of comparable diamonds, not an anonymous list. Every next step begins only after your approval.

  1. 01

    Define the brief

We discuss the jewelry, preferred shape and visible size, metal, timing and budget range.

  2. 02

    Curate a shortlist

We select directly comparable certified diamonds and explain what determines the price of each option.

  3. 03

    Compare what matters

We review the report, proportions, light performance, inclusions and how the stone will look in its intended setting.

  4. 04

    Confirm the choice

After approval, we arrange the stone purchase, jewelry production or secure documented delivery.

The diamond 4Cs, made practical

What we check before recommending a diamond

A grading report is the starting point. The final choice depends on appearance, light performance, proportions, the intended setting and whether a difference is actually visible.

01

Carat — weight and face-up size

Two diamonds of equal weight can have different diameters. We compare millimeters and proportions, not only the carat number.

02

Color — judged in the setting

Metal color, shape and size affect how color is perceived. We show when a higher grade is visible and when it is not.

03

Clarity — clean without overspending

We assess the position, type and naked-eye visibility of inclusions. The goal is an attractive eye-clean stone, not the most expensive letters.

04

Cut — light and brilliance

Cut has the strongest effect on a round diamond’s brilliance. We assess proportions, symmetry, polish and performance in different light.
